Renaissance Zone Program

The Renaissance Zone program is to revitalize communities in our state and encourage development through tax incentives. 

 

The Mandan Renaissance Zone program has been effective in enhancing our community and economic development efforts by offering both state and local tax incentives for 5 years, both residents and business owners are provided with an incentive to invest in the community. 

 

Zone boundaries cover 35 blocks along Main Street and the downtown area, including both commercial and residential properties, plus a non-contiguous area along Memorial Highway, the 2300-2500 blocks.

APPLICATION

A Renaissance Zone project must be approved by both the City of Mandan and the North Dakota Department of Commerce before the qualifying activity occurs (purchase, new construction, lease, or rehabilitation).

• Form to request certificate of good standing from N.D. Tax Department
• Submit the form to request a certificate of good standing to the N.D. Tax Department.
