On behalf of the great men and women of the Mandan Fire Department I want to welcome you to our webpage. We are honored to provide the citizens, businesses, and visitors of the City of Mandan with emergency services and education. Our commitment to public safety and professionalism is of the utmost importance to each of our staff members. We recognize the trust you place in us and the responsibility we have in doing the right thing each and every day.

 

All of our firefighters are very dedicated professionals who train multiple hours per month, using their training to respond to emergency assignments while doing so with modern equipment and techniques. We consider ourselves a very professional and progressive department that places us in the ranking with other elite departments throughout the country.

 

We continually look for ways to improve our department and therefore welcome any comments or suggestions anyone might have in that regard.

As Mandan continues to grow, the Fire Department has completed a comprehensive planning effort to evaluate future service needs, response capabilities, and facility requirements. This presentation outlines key findings, including population growth, increasing call volume, current response challenges, and the need for expanded resources such as a future fire station and emergency operations center.
