Jun. 3, 2025. — The annual Buggies-n-Blues car show and music festival returns to downtown Mandan June 6–8, 2025, bringing a weekend full of classic cars, live entertainment, and family-friendly fun to Main Street and Dykshoorn Park.

To accommodate the signature Sunday Car Show, Main Street closures are scheduled to begin at 2 a.m. on Sunday, June 8. Main Street will be closed from Third Ave NE to Sixth Ave NW until 5 p.m. that day. Third Ave NE and Second Ave NE will be closed temporarily for staging and reopened at 11 a.m. after all vehicles are staged. All other avenues along the Main Street closure will remain closed to traffic from Main Street to the alley for the duration of the event. Temporary four-way stops will be activated at the First Street intersections of Third Ave NE and Third Ave NW for safety and traffic control.

Please be aware that no parking will be permitted on Main Street, parking lots on the south side of Main St. or the intersecting avenues within the event closure area beginning early Sunday morning. Vehicles parked in violation may be subject to towing to ensure clear and safe access for participants and vendors.

West Main Street access will remain open for Runnings and the Morton Mandan Public Library. Motorists are encouraged to use First Street as a detour, and truck drivers should plan alternate routes.

Mandan residents and visitors should also expect higher pedestrian traffic along Main Street and around Dykshoorn Park throughout the weekend, particularly Friday and Saturday, June 6–7, during the Food Truck Festival and live music performances, leading into the Sunday Car Show. Please drive with caution and plan accordingly.
