Only Flush Toilet Paper

The City of Mandan Waste Water Treatment plant operators remind residents that flushing anything besides toilet paper can result in blockages and expensive home plumbing problems.

Please do NOT flush:

• Flushable wipes – packaging claims these wipes are flushable, but most packages will say they are not flushable in small print.
• Paper towels – designed for absorbency and will not break down.
• Facial tissue/napkins – the soft surface makes them harder to dissolve.
