Action Drive Detour in Place

Apr. 10, 2026 -Work at Action Drive is one of the more complex portions of the Memorial Highway Construction project and includes multiple phases of utility installation and roadway reconstruction. A traffic switch for Action Drive began Friday, Apr. 10. 

Work in this area includes:

• Installation of new sanitary sewer, including two new manholes within the intersection
• Installation of a new watermain through the corridor and extending north through the intersection
• Installation of stormwater inlets at the intersection
• Concrete paving at the intersection

To safely complete this work, the Action Drive intersection will be temporarily closed and traffic will be detoured.

• Traffic will be routed along a temporary detour on the east side of Action Drive
• Traffic will shift between the temporary detour and original roadway multiple times as work progresses

Work in the Action Drive area is expected to be in place for approximately five to six weeks.
