City Awarded Placemaking Grant for High School Redevelopment

The City of Mandan was recently awarded a $100,000 Placemaking Planning Grant from the North Dakota Department of Commerce – Main Street Initiative Team and the Economic Development Administration (EDA).

Grant funds will be used to obtain a qualified consultant to assist the City, School and Park District with the identification of feasible redevelopment plans based on existing conditions, infrastructure capacity, public input, and the local economy and real estate market.

The City acknowledges that the future of this property is important to many residents. Public involvement opportunities are a major component of this upcoming study and will be announced in 2023.
