Citywide Tree Inventory Underway

Aug. 5, 2025 —Moore Engineering will be completing a citywide tree inventory of City owned property and public right-of ways (ROW). A majority of the inventory will occur within residential areas, but private property trees will not be collected. The inventory is being conducted to provide data of existing tree species, sizes, and condition.

This information will help the City assess potential hazardous trees for removal, locate diseased trees or pests, and plan for future tree plantings and development. Moore began the inventory on Aug. 3, 2025, and plans to finish by Oct. 2025. Field staff will be on site periodically to complete the work during this period. Moore field staff will be wearing high-visibility vests while completing the fieldwork. Some trees may contain a tree tagID #. This is for inventory purposes only, it does not indicate if a tree will be saved or removed.
