Main Street Closure Planned for Touch a Truck, May 17

May 12, 2025 —The popular Touch a Truck event returns to Downtown Mandan on Saturday, May 17, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Families and truck enthusiasts of all ages are invited to get up close and hands-on with a variety of vehicles along Main Street.

To accommodate setup, the event and teardown, Main Street will be closed to through traffic from Collins Ave to just beyond Fourth Ave NW from 2 a.m. to 5 p.m. on May 17. Portions of nearby avenues from the alley to Main Street will also be closed, along with parking lots on the south side of Main Street—from west of Bravera Bank to Dykshoorn Park.

Motorists are advised to use First Street from Collins to Sixth Ave NW as a detour. Truck traffic should consider alternate routes to avoid delays.
