Dec. 31st, 2025 New Year, New Light Firework Show - Parking & Viewing Information
The Mandan Progress Organization and Pegasus Illuminations, in partnership with the City of Mandan, would like to extend a sincere thank you to the community for the incredible support and anticipation surrounding the New Year, New Light New Year’s Eve Firework Show. The excitement for this historic event is tremendous, and our shared goal is to ensure it is safe, respectful, and enjoyable for everyone.
As spectators plan to view the fireworks from surrounding areas, the public is reminded that all laws of the road remain in effect throughout the evening. Parking along County Road 1806 or Old Red Trail in areas where parking is not permitted is strictly prohibited and may result in fines and/or vehicle impoundment. Additionally, parking in business lots or on private property is never recommended without direct permission from the property owner. Property owners do have the right to tow vehicles that have not been given permission to be on private property.
Due to the scale of this event, significant traffic congestion is expected in the area on Mandan High School, Country Road 1806, Collins Ave, Sunset Ave, and Old Red Trail. Travel times will be longer than normal. Motorists are urged to plan for delays, follow all posted road closures and detours and to always remain aware of their surroundings. Vehicles must not obstruct the normal flow of traffic in any manner, including blocking roadways, driveways, or emergency access routes.
Public safety is the top priority for all partners involved. With cooperation from attendees and area motorists, this New Year’s Eve celebration can be a memorable and positive experience for the entire community.
Thank you again for your support, patience, and commitment to making New Year, New Light a safe and successful event for all.
