Announcing the Passing of Commissioner Craig Sjoberg

Aug. 29, 2026 —It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of City Commissioner Craig Sjoberg.

Sjoberg took office July 1, 2024, and was a passionate, caring, diligent, and veracious leader.

City staff and leaders are heartbroken. Our thoughts and prayers are with Commissioner Sjoberg’s wife Pudge, son Jesse, and all his family and friends.
