Morton County Mitigation Survey Available

Mar. 4, 2025 — Residents of Morton County, North Dakota, are asked to participate in a survey for the Morton County, N.D. Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plan Update. The mitigation plan is updated every five years and is necessary to apply for grant funding from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

Survey results will help identify gaps in capabilities and assist in development of projects for the plan. The survey is available online at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/MortonCountyMitigationPlan

The survey is also available in digital format on the Morton County and City of Mandan websites. Hardcopies of the survey are available at the city hall of each incorporated city (Almont, Flasher, Glen Ullin, Hebron, Mandan, and New Salem), and the Morton County Courthouse in both the entrance lobby and the Emergency Manager’s office.

For more information, please contact Morton County Emergency Manager Patrick Martin at 701-667-3307, or Planner Daniel Schwartz with Nexus Planning & Consulting at 701-989-7970.
