Code Enforcement Appeals Board
The Mandan Municipal Code has multiple requirements that periodically require enforcement actions. The City of Mandan employs a code enforcement officer to provide enforcement of city code requirements and has established a standard set of requirements and procedures for dealing with enforcement issues. These include issuing violation notices and citations, inspecting public and private property and using administrative and judicial remedies as available city ordinance, state and federal law. If the code enforcement officer receives an appeal to any enforcement action, the officer shall forward the appeal to the board of appeals. The board meets as needed when an appeal request is received by the City.
