Administration

The City Administrator is responsible for directing, supervising and coordinating all departments and divisions to ensure an efficient and effective organization, planning and management of the City. The Administrator reports directly to the mayor and City Commission.

The City Administrator serves in the following capacities:

• Chief Administrative Officer
• City Auditor
• Human Resources Manager

The Administrator represents Mandan as a member of the board of directors for the following organizations:

• Bismarck-Mandan Convention & Visitors Bureau
• Morton County - City of Mandan Combined Law Enforcement Center Advisory Board
• Lewis & Clark Regional Development Council
• Bismarck-Mandan Mayor's Committee for People with Disabilities
• North Dakota Missouri River Advisory Council
• Mandan Remediation Trust
• North Dakota League of Cities Executive Board (representing cities over 2,500 in the southwest region) 

In addition, the City Administrator is a liaison to the following committees:

• Mandan Growth Fund
• Mandan Visitors Committee
• Mandan Civil Service Commission
